Who we are

We’re a childcare and family support company for families raising children and teens with autism, ADHD, anxiety, PDA (demand avoidance) and other needs that make typical childcare hard and family life more complicated.

We come to you.

We send a Care Specialist to your home to look after your child, and they can take your child out into the community: school pickup, the park, the library or an activity you approve.

Beyond childcare

Our support also reaches beyond childcare, with practical advice, coordination and hands-on help for whatever your family is facing. Tell us what you need help with, and we’ll put together a plan.

Childcare for children who need more support

Some children need more than a typical babysitter or nanny can give. Your Care Specialist learns how your child communicates, what they love and how their day runs, at home and out in the community.

Plenty of time for the things they enjoy

Games, music, art, a walk or quiet company. We make room for your child’s interests and choices, with time to join in or take a break. For teens, it may be companionship or a shared activity.

Understanding how your child communicates

We learn how your child asks, chooses and signals a break, including through gestures or a communication device. Sensory supports, time to process and low-pressure approaches shape our time together.

Behavior and safety, with a plan

We prepare for difficult moments, including aggression, leaving a supervised area and self-injury. Your child’s plan guides familiar responses and active supervision, with our team available during care.

How that’s different from finding someone online.

General “special needs” experience only tells you so much: what works for one child can backfire with another.

Our Care Specialists are our own employees, prepared for your child and supervised by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

All three cover the basics: school pickup, outings, evenings, weekends and overnights, and you can leave while care happens.

Navigation is practical guidance and hands-on help with whatever comes next. After a new diagnosis, we help you get oriented to the services and support available, weigh your options and decide where to start.

If you’ve been at this for years, come to us when needs change, a new stage is coming or the support already in place could work better. We help you work out what to do, then take on the work you hand over and follow it through.

Use care around your work schedule, from full-time coverage to a few hours each day.

Arrange recurring time for another child, shopping, self-care or a break, often called respite. Or plan occasional care for a date night, an anniversary or time away.

    When it’s all on youMonths of therapy bills are waiting, and you still have to find what is missing, what matters and where to begin.

    With NovinwayOur Navigation team gathers missing records and prepares the next reimbursement packet. The project moves forward while you are at work.

  3. After school Care

    When it’s all on youSchool ends before your workday does, and your child still needs pickup, a snack and time to settle in.

    With NovinwayYour Care Specialist handles the agreed pickup, snack and transition home. You can finish the workday knowing the afternoon is covered.

  4. Evening Care

    When it’s all on youYou want to keep dinner plans, but first you have to find someone who understands your child’s evening routine.

    With NovinwayYour Care Specialist handles dinner and the familiar bedtime routine, with preparation and support from our team. You can enjoy the evening you planned.
