Speech, AAC, pictures, gestures, typing, movement, walking away. Care Specialists learn how your child communicates and respond to the communication that is actually there.
The routine can stay familiar
Meals, transitions, sensory preferences, favorite activities, the usual order of the afternoon — ordinary childcare works better when the person providing it already knows the details.
Safety that stays in the background
Care Specialists are trained to supervise actively, respond safely to aggression, elopement, and self-injurious behavior, recognize when a situation is becoming unsafe, and call for support early.

Screened before unsupervised care
A structured, scenario-based interview. Criminal-history and sex-offender screening. Verified references. Current First Aid + CPR. All completed before unsupervised care.
Practice before the first visit
Care Specialists rehearse realistic situations, receive feedback, and try again before working independently.
Supervision that continues
A Novinway supervisor is there when care begins and can return whenever needed. If something isn’t working, we work through it together rather than leaving anyone to figure it out alone.
Pricing
Occasional, or every week.
Flex
$50 per hourPlus a $100 preparation fee per block of up to 20 hours, used within 90 days. Covers preparation and support so whoever arrives already knows your child.
For date nights, appointments and school closures.
Monthly
$40 per hourPlus a $300 monthly membership. Covers ongoing preparation, scheduling and support for a recurring Care schedule.
For scheduled respite and work-linked care.

We match for availability, experience, and working style, then prepare each Care Specialist assigned to your family around what matters before they arrive.

We start the assignment together.
A supervisor joins the first visit. We use what we learn there to update the instructions, routines, and support before the next visit.
